Speculation is mounting that a fan-favourite Marvel anti-hero is back in fighting shape. The actress behind one of the franchise’s deadliest assassins has shared fresh training footage on social media, and supporters are convinced the workout points to a long-awaited return in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.

Viewers turned to X to voice their excitement. One fan wrote, “omg elektra training for that comeback?? we need her back in born again asap fr. The hand showing up too? this is gonna slap if they bring her in.” Another pleaded, “PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I NEED HER AND MATT BACK TOGETHER.” A third declared, “YES PLEASE !!! The ONE & ONLY !!!”

The timeline supports the theory. Filming on Season 3 only began in March, and production is expected to run for at least three more months. That leaves room for Yung to join the cast, if she has not already, and gives showrunners flexibility to weave her arc into the existing scripts without disruption.

Should she appear, leaked set photos will likely surface with her revamped costume, much like they did with Kingpin’snew look earlier in the shoot.

Her return would also align with broader developments across the franchise. The Hand, the ninja cult that once controlled Elektra, resurfaced in Spider-Man: Brand New Day in their signature red garb. Reports suggest the organisation will feature heavily in the upcoming season, making Elektra’s involvement a logical creative beat that bridges her past with The Hand and the show’s renewed focus on street-level threats.

The training clip remains the clearest signal yet that Yung is gearing up to wield her sais once more. If the speculation holds, her return would mark another reunion between the Netflix era and the wider Marvel universe.
