The Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 finale ended the conflict between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, with the latter exiled from New York City. There’s not much offered in the finale as to what happens to Kingpin after that — is he going to find a way to come back?

Fans have been wondering where exactly the Kingpin is residing now, and set photos from Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, which will premiere next year, have now revealed the answer.

What do we learn from the Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 set photo?

A new set photo for Season 3’s production offers the clearest hint yet about where his story is headed next: He’s at a villa in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. According to a call sheet for Season 3, the series is currently filming scenes set around “Fisk Villa” in the country.

Looks like Wilson Fisk is in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, at the end of ‘DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN’ Season 2, with Season 3 filming scenes set around Fisk Villa and El Yunque.

The Season 2 finale ended with Fisk cutting a deal with the Attorney General, agreeing to step down as Mayor and renounce his citizenship. The final moments of the Season show Fisk on an undisclosed beach, staring out at the ocean. Given the fortune he’s amassed over the years, Fisk owning a villa in Puerto Rico shouldn’t be surprising.

Set photos from Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 have already confirmed that Fisk will be back in action next year; it remains to be seen in what capacity. While Fisk may not be an immediate threat, a new Muse will be keeping Daredevil and The Defenders busy. As for other details, Charlie Cox has already stated that the series won’t undo Daredevil’s unmasking, taking the show in an unexpected direction.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is streaming on Disney+. In the meantime, fans can look forward to The Punisher: One Last Kill releasing later this month.
