Hulu subscribers can now watch one of A24 and 2AM’s celebrated horror films starring Pete Davidson. The film blends black comedy with horror and was directed by the filmmaker behind 2019’s Instinct.
What A24 horror movie arrives on Hulu today?
The 2022 film Bodies Bodies Bodies is now available to stream on Hulu. Directed by Halina Reijn, the slasher film holds an 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 239 reviews. However, the audience rating is relatively low, sitting at 69% on the Popcornmeter.
The film’s synopsis reads, “When a group of rich 20-somethings plans a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong.”
While most slasher films pay homage to earlier eras of the genre, Bodies Bodies Bodies functions as a sharp commentary on Gen Z. Reviews have noted that the film sharply satirizes Gen Z lingo and social dynamics.

In an interview with ComingSoon, Reign said that she was attracted to the project for its use of the eponymous game. “I played the game a lot with my friends — we called it Mafia or Werewolf — and then A24 asked me to get involved,” she explained. “And I said, ‘Well, I want to get involved, but I want to do it in my own way and make it more Mean Girls meets Lord of the Flies.'”
Reign followed up the film with Babygirl, which also received positive reviews. ComingSoon’s own Jonathan Sim gave Bodies Bodies Bodies a positive review, writing that it “offers a surprising amount of fun with its dark humor and razor sharp wit.”
Bodies, Bodies, Bodies stars Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, Lee Pace, and Pete Davidson. It is directed by Halina Reijn from a screenplay by Sarah DeLappe. Its story was conceived by Kristen Roupenian.
Bodies Bodies Bodies is streaming now on Hulu.
