Feeling stuck on the May 9, 2026 (#1063) edition of NYT Connections? Here are some clues and hints to help you solve today’s puzzle and save your winning streak, as well as the final answers.

Connections by The New York Times is a unique daily word game available online for free. The puzzle presents players with a set of 16 different words. Although the words may look random, they are secretly connected by some hidden themes. The challenge is to find out what these themes are and figure out which words have something in common. According to that, players need to sort the words into groups of four. However, the game only allows for guesses to make the correct selections. Moreover, players also receive a “one away…” notification every time they choose three out of the four correct words of a particular theme.
