This week, a ton of new movie trailers released, highlighting some of the biggest movies coming out in the second half of 2026. Of course, the biggest of them was Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which debuted a new trailer this week. While you have certainly seen that, you might not have seen some others, and in order to make finding them a bit easier, we’ve collected five of the best trailers you don’t want to miss out on.
Sight Unseen
This horror movie from director Stephen Parkhurst follows the story of a group of siblings, who inherit a rural cabin from their father only to discover that something is amiss. The movie promises a ton of spooky moments as seen in the trailer, as well as a mystery that might include the surrounding neighborhood as accomplices of whatever entity exists in the movie. This would be perfect for those looking for something spooky to watch at home when it releases on May 19, 2026.
Evil Dead Burn
The latest entry in the iconic Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead Burn is also all about family. The movie centers on a family who has recently lost a loved one, finding the Necronomicon and reading from it in an effort to maybe bring them back. What follows is a family reunion in the way only Evil Dead can do. The trailer promises tons of chaos and demons that love to cause problems when it releases on July 10, 2026. The new entry is directed by Sébastien Vaniček, the latest in a tradition of up-and-coming directors getting the chance to present their take on the horror series.
Reckless
Scott Adkins stars in this upcoming action thriller about a former criminal who is trying to get his cut of an old bank heist, but instead stumbles into a situation that forces him to be on the run from the cops again. Aside from some action-packed fight scenes, Reckless also features some funny moments in the trailer, so fans looking for a mix of comedy and action will be right at home here when the movie releases on May 22, 2026.
Motor City
Alan Ritchson steps into this new action movie as a man wrongly imprisoned by a gangster who fell in love with his girlfriend. Now freshly free, Ritchson embarks on a quest for revenge, motivated by the love of his girlfriend (played by Shailene Woodley) and the search for vengeance against the man who wronged him. Obviously, fans of Ritchson will want to check this one out when it releases on July 24, 2026. Not just for the action-packed scenes teased in the trailer, but also to see Ritchson taking on a bit of a more emotional role. The film also features a large cast that includes Pablo Schreiber, Ben Foster, and Ben McKenzie.
This Tempting Madness
Bridgerton star Simone Ashley leads this psychological thriller, which sees her play the role of a woman who wakes up from a coma to find her husband missing, only to be taken into custody for allegedly causing her injuries.
