Pete Davidson and Gal Gadot‘s AI-enabled movie will satirize many controversial public figures. The film, titled Bitcoin, directed by Doug Liman, will see AI-altered versions of many popular figures entrenched in politics, technology, and business.
What real-life figures will be satirized in the Bitcoin movie?
According to a new report from Deadline, the upcoming film will see different versions of Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey, Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, and Eric Trump appear in it. The figures are portrayed by other actors in the film, whose performances will be enhanced using AI. The actors have already given their approvals for undergoing AI-enabled enhancements.
As for how big these roles will be, the report suggests that Zuckerberg will have the most lines in the film. Elon Musk may also be referenced in the film. Eric Trump, meanwhile, will be featured hawking the “Trump coin” in one scene. The project is being billed as a satire in the vein of South Park and SNL to ease any legal tensions.

Bitcoin, previously titled Killing Satoshi, was announced earlier this year to use AI. According to the director, AI will be leveraged to bring the film’s budget down to $70 million, a heavy reduction over what would have normally cost over $200 million.
Affleck plays computer scientist Craig Wright, while Davidson will portray blockchain investor Calvin Ayre. Gal Gadot is playing Charlotte “Lotte” Miller. As for its AI, Kavanaugh’s proprietary AI within the ACME AI label and Liman’s proprietary PECAN (Performance Capture Animation) process is being used.
The film’s story centers around the mysterious creator of Bitcoin, who goes under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Ryan Kavanaugh’s production company, Proxima, is producing the film. Besides Davidson and Gadot, the film stars Casey Affleck and Isla Fisher.
Bitcoin currently does not have a release date.
