King of the Hill is coming back, and we now have a release date for the show’s 15th Season. Hulu has revealed when the series will return and has also released the first poster for the new season.
When is the release date for King of the Hill Season 15?
King of the Hill Season 15 will debut all 10 episodes on Hulu on July 20, 2026. However, that’s not all. The first poster released by Hulu contains many hints about the events that will take place in Season 15. Check it out below:

As for what the new Season will entail, the synopsis teases that Hank and Peggy’s life after retirement won’t be as peaceful as they thought.
“Hank and Peggy settle into retirement life on Rainey Street while attempting to keep their neighbors from going off the rails,” read the official logline for Season 15. “Bobby navigates old friendships while dealing with the stresses of being an entrepreneur.”
The animated series is bigger than ever, registering over 1.21 billion minutes of viewership in Season 14’s premiere week according to Nielsen (via THR). Last year’s Season has a respectable 98% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, with the audience-rated popcornmeter trailing slightly behind at 90%. The show’s success led Hulu to renew it for both Seasons 16 and 17 soon after the last Season.
Series creator Mike Judge and regulars Kathy Najimy, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, Toby Huss, and Pamela Adlon will reprise their roles in the 15th Season. Unfortunately, the series won’t feature Johnny Hardwick as Dale Gribble or Jonathan Joss as John Redcorn, as both actors passed away in 2023 and 2025, respectively.
King of the Hill Season 15 will be released on Hulu on July 20, 2026.
