Warner Bros. has officially unveiled the first Evil Dead Burn trailer, previewing a Deadite family reunion terrorizing a group of people as they are prone to do.
Originally announced to be releasing on July 24, 2026, Evil Dead Burn will now release two weeks earlier, on July 10, 2026. “A woman seeks comfort at her in-laws in their remote house when she loses her husband in a car accident. However, after the discovery of an ancient book, the family reunion becomes a hellish nightmare,” reads the official synopsis for the film.

What happens in the Evil Dead Burn trailer?
The new, red band trailer for the movie opens in typical Evil Dead fashion, with a Deadite-possessed woman arriving at the door after Alice (Souheila Yacoub) and another man run in. The possessed woman quickly shows off the level of effects in the upcoming movie, as she’s been in some sort of car accident, and has a seat headrest stuck through her cheek.
From there, the movie teases the film’s plot, which seems to center on a family, who has recently lost a loved one, finding the Necronomicon and reading from it in an effort to maybe bring them back. What follows is a family reunion in the way only Evil Dead can do, which promises tons of chaos and demons that love to cause problems.
Evil Dead Burn is the third standalone entry in the iconic, long-running horror franchise. The movie is directed by Sébastien Vaniček, who also co-wrote the movie with Florent Bernard. The movie stars Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Erroll Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar, and Greta Van Den Brink.
Following Burn’s release, another Evil Dead movie, Evil Dead Wrath, is also set to release. That film will be written and directed by Francis Galluppi.
