With a new month on the horizon, and several TV shows set to exit Netflix‘s content library, here’s a list of what’s leaving in May. It is a monthly tradition for the streamer to refresh its catalog by removing any shows that have run their course on the platform. From popular comedies to gripping dramas, many are leaving next month. Even some of the Netflix Originals are only available to stream for a limited time.
All TV shows leaving Netflix in May 2026
This guide includes all shows leaving Netflix in May, helping subscribers plan their binge-watching schedule for the coming weeks (via What’s on Netflix).
Friday, May 1
- Blue Mountain State (Seasons 1-3)
Saturday, May 2
- Boys Over Flowers
- Iris
Thursday, May 7
- NASCAR: Full Speed (Seasons 1-2)
Saturday, May 9
- Documentary Now! (Seasons 1-4)
Sunday, May 17
- It’s Bruno! (Season 1)
- White Gold (Season 2)
Thursday, May 21
- Act Your Age (Season 1)
- Mob Psycho 100
- Wildfire (Seasons 1-4)
Wednesday, May 27
- Black Space (Season 1)
Sunday, May 31
- Dirty John (Seasons 1-2)
- Your Honor (Seasons 1-2)
Among these, a couple of the shows are Netflix Originals. For example, the first two seasons of NASCAR: Full Speed were produced under the streamer, but NASCAR Studios changed its streaming partner to Prime Video. As a result, the third season, titled “Full Speed: The Daytona 500,” premiered on Amazon’s platform. With the removal of Seasons 1 and 2 from Netflix, the series will become a Prime Video exclusive.
While it is clear where NASCAR: Full Speed will be streaming next, it’s not the case for all the titles on the list. This leaves Netflix subscribers with a limited time to stream the series before they exit the platform.
Documentary Now!, created by SNL veterans, parodies popular documentaries and presents hilarious fictional events as real-life incidents. Meanwhile, Wildfire is a heartwarming tale of a troubled teen who bonds with a racehorse at the ranch she works. If anyone desires to watch an intense drama, they can stream Bryan Cranston’s Your Honor, where a judge tries to cover up his son’s hit-and-run crime.
