Days of Our Lives alum Lisa Rinna has the perfect candidate for the next season of The Bachelorette. After the latest season of the show was pulled off the air before its premiere, Rinna backed her Traitors co-star, Maura Higgins, as a potential candidate on the ABC reality show.

Lisa Rinna on why Maura Higgins should be the next Bachelorette

Shortly after it was confirmed that Maura Higgins is joining Dancing with the Stars, her Traitors co-star, Lisa Rinna, has backed her for another ABC reality show.

Rinna wants Higgins to be a part of the future season of The Bachelorette. This comes shortly after the latest season of the show was pulled off the air following a controversy surrounding the season’s lead, Taylor Frankie Paul.

“I think she should be the Bachelorette,” Lisa said about Higgins to E! News. “I think she should do everything, because she’s such good television. She can do it all.”

So far, there has been no confirmation about whether this could be a concrete possibility in the future. However, Higgins will soon appear on DWTS, which means she has a lot of preparations to make.

Rinna, herself a past contestant of Dancing with the Stars, said about Higgins’ new path, “I am so excited, because that was a life-changing experience for me.” She continued, “It’s going to be life-changing for her. I was genuinely thrilled because I adore her. I love her so much, and I just think it’s so fun to watch these kids having their moment.”

Interestingly, Rinna is not the only one backing Higgins as she makes her way to DWTS. Another Traitors alum, Rob Rausch, also threw his weight behind Rinna. “She’s going to crush it, it’s going to be awesome,” he said to E!, “She’s got it in the bag.”

So, things look good for Maura Higgins as she enters the new show. Perhaps she could be The Bachelorette in the future, too.
