Letitia Wright‘s 2022 biographical drama movie from Focus Features has finally found a new streaming home. As of today, the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star’s 2022 film The Silent Twins is officially available to stream on Netflix.

What do we know about Letitia Wright’s The Silent Twins movie?

Polish filmmaker Agnieszka Smoczynska directed the Silent Twins, with the screenplay written by Andrea Seigel. It was based on Marjorie Wallace’s 1986 novel of the same name. This served as Smoczynska’s first time directing an English-language feature. The ensemble cast also included Tamara Lawrance (The Long Song), Nadine Marshall (The Smoking Room), Treva Etienne (Falling Skies), Michael Smiley (The Lobster), Jodhi May (The Witcher), Jack Bandeira (Young Wallander), Kinga Preis (Tuesday), and more.

“The film is the astounding true story of twin sisters who only communicated with one another. As a result, they created a rich, fascinating world to escape the reality of their own lives,” reads the official synopsis.

The Silent Twins was produced by Klaudia Smieja, Ewa Puszczyńska, Ben Pugh, Joshua Horsfield, Anita Gou, and Alicia van Couvering, with Katie Anderson, Jake Carter, Trevor Groth, Andrea Seigel, Charlie Morrison, and Wallace serving as executive producers. Following its debut, the 2022 film received mixed reception from critics and audiences alike. It currently holds an approval rating of 69% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 89 reviews. Meanwhile, its Popcornmeter score is slightly higher at 76%.
