Fox has canceled one of its more recent comedy shows, ending the series after two seasons ahead of its newest slate of programming.

What Fox comedy show has been canceled?

According to a new report from Variety, Going Dutch, the sitcom comedy series starring Denis Leary, has been canceled at Fox after just two seasons. The series, which originally premiered in 2025, recently saw its second season end last month, and won’t be back for a third.

The series followed the story of a Colonel who is assigned to a military base in the Netherlands following an offensive rant. Alongside Leary, the series also starred Taylor Misiak, Danny Pudi, Laci Mosley, and Hal Cumpston. The series also featured

Dempsey Bryk, Arnmundur Ernst Björnsson, Catherine Tate, and Kristen Johnston in recurring roles. The series was created by Joel Church-Cooper, who was co-showrunner on the show alongside Hilary Winston, and produced by Edmund Sampson, Sean O’Riordan, and Bill Malone. The series was executive produced by Denis Leary, Jack Leary, Joel Church-Cooper, and Hilary Winston.

According to Variety’s report, the cancellation comes as Fox readies to lay out their plans for its upcoming 2026-2027 broadcast season. The company is set to bring back a ton of hit programming, including Joel McHale’s sitcom Animal Control, much of its animation content, and more.

“The arrogant, loudmouth U.S. Army Colonel Patrick Quinn (Leary) — after an epically unfiltered rant — is reassigned to the Netherlands, where he is punished with a command position at the least strategic army base in the world, notable for its Michelin Star-commissary, top-notch bowling alley, lavender-infused laundry and the best (and only) fromagerie in the U.S. Armed Forces,” reads the show’s official synopsis. “Surrounded by a diverse group of military misfits, the colonel tries to reinstate discipline and professionalism with the help of the base’s previous interim leader, who just happens to be his estranged daughter (Misiak).”
