Fox’s upcoming spy drama series The Interrogator has added an actor who appeared in Dark Winds to its cast.
The upcoming spy show, which Fox has given a straight-to-series order, will feature British actor-comedian Stephen Fry, who will also take on writing and executive producing duties. The Interrogator will reunite Fry with Fox following his recurring role as Dr. Gordon Wyatt on Bones.
Who has joined the cast of the anticipated Fox spy show The Interrogator?
Jenna Elfman has joined the cast of the upcoming Fox spy show The Interrogator. The actor is best known for her work on the last three seasons of AMC’s Dark Winds, Fear the Walking Dead, ABC’s Dharma & Greg, and HBO’s Barry. Notably, Elfman won the coveted Golden Globe award for her work on Dharma & Greg.
The Interrogator will follow Fry, who plays Conrad Henry, a former MI6 agent. “When conventional methods have failed, Henry’s quirky charm, superior intellect and mind-bending behavioral maneuvers make him the only man able to lockpick the minds of the world’s most dangerous criminals,” reads the show’s synopsis.
As reported by Deadline, Elfman will portray Woodrow, Conrad Henry’s boss and handler at the D.I.A in The Interrogator. The dynamic between the intellectual Henry and the structured, high-ranking Woodrow is expected to provide the show’s primary emotional and professional friction. The upcoming show will also star Luke Kleintank (FBI: International) and Michael Beach (known for Mayor of Kingstown) as series regulars, the latter playing Louis, Henry’s best friend and closest confidant.
Following the cancellation of a recently popular spy show across networks like Netflix, The Interrogator is shaping up to be an exciting watch in the coming primetime television season.
The Interrogator’s first season will include 12 episodes and air on Fox during the 2026-27 season. Alongside Fry, the series also picked up Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie as showrunners, the writing duo behind Matador and MTV’s horror anthology Scream.
