Marvel Television has released a new teaser for the final two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, offering viewers a brief look at what lies ahead as the season nears its finale. While the teaser primarily compiles scenes from earlier episodes, some brief moments feature previously unseen footage.
Latest Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 teaser shows new footage
The recently released promo wastes no time setting the stakes. Most of the runtime pulls from earlier episodes. But eagle-eyed fans immediately caught the new shots tucked in between. Mayor Wilson Fisk is seen staring down from a position of power at the Man Without Fear, Jessica Jones, Karen Page, and a swelling crowd of resisting and revolting New York citizens. Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 teaser hints that Fisk isn’t hiding anymore.
The Kingpin’s rage has a deeply personal edge now. After the death of his wife Vanessa, his carefully constructed public persona is crumbling. The trailer makes it clear he’s done playing politician, ready to crush his enemies with nothing left to lose in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
After all, this week’s episode made that point. Fisk taunted Murdock by stating the obvious that he can’t be arrested, and Matt won’t kill him. That moral vice grip leaves Daredevil with almost no traditional path to victory, but the teaser suggests Murdock isn’t out of moves just yet. The show has consistently emphasized that a hero without options is often the most dangerous kind.
The official season synopsis frames this collision. It reads, “In Season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he hunts down public enemy number one, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil.” Further, it adds, “But beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will try to fight back from the shadows to tear down the Kingpin’s corrupt empire and redeem his home. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.”
Daredevil: Born Again Episode 7 will come out on April 28.
