Does the April 24, 2026 (#1048) edition of NYT Connections have you stumped? Check out these clues and hints that will help you crack today’s puzzle and keep your winning streak alive.

Connection by The New York Times is a daily word game created by editor Wyna Liu. This unique puzzle challenges players to find hidden connections within a set of seemingly random words. Players must then categorize the words into groups of four based on those hidden links. However, the game only allows four guesses to place the words into the correct groups. Furthermore, players who get close to completing a group receive a helpful “one away…” notification.

The four groups are Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple. The colors determine the level of difficulty. Yellow often features the easiest theme to figure out, while Purple is the trickiest of the lot.
