Iron Man, Winter Soldier, and Storm are the latest characters to receive some new costumes. The Marvel Rivals versions of the characters have introduced fresh looks inspired by different creative interpretations of the MCU heroes.
As revealed on the X account for Marvel Rivals, the Winter Soldier has received a skin that turns him into the Celestial Soldier. This skin is an in-game original and did not appear in any comics, games, or films before Marvel Rivals Season 10. Iron Man and Storm have received costumes more reminiscent of their characters from another video game, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls.
The official announcement urges players to use the accompanying gear to improve their gameplay experience. It reads, “Gear up, take the field, and make the world tremble as you fight for glory!”
A closer look at Winter Soldier, Iron Man & Storm’s latest Marvel transformations
The Winter Soldier now has a new look that transforms him into the Celestial Soldier, significantly altering Bucky’s appearance. The tactical gear has been replaced by a tunic, and he sports horns reminiscent of Loki’s, along with a Greek motif that makes him resemble Hermes. This new costume is part of the Celestial Messenger line of skins.
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is a 2.5D game that is developed by Arc System Works, the same team responsible for hits such as Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Fighting Souls is a 4v4 tag-team fighting game featuring a unique art style and a diverse roster of characters. The game draws significant inspiration from anime, utilizing cell-shaded animation for its character models. This artistic approach is also evident in Iron Man and Storm from Marvel Rivals, even though that game adopts a completely different format and art style.
All three costumes became available in Marvel Rivals on October 30, 2026.
