This week’s Paramount+ releases include a spin-off of Carl Weber’s The Family Business, along with several other new titles.

Airing on Paramount+ on April 29, Carl Weber’s The Family Business: New Orleans (Season 1, 2025) is a crime-drama spinoff centered on a new branch of the Duncan family in Louisiana. Across 8 episodes, Big Shirley Duncan (Lela Rochon) and her son Marquis (Brandon T. Jackson) run the popular but clandestine “Midnight Blues” casino and nightclub.

Also releasing on Paramount+ on the same date are the first seasons of Angel and Legacy, alongside the third and fourth seasons of Kenan & Kel.

Another must-watch this week is My Killer Father: The Green Hollow Murders, a Paramount+ original docuseries premiering on April 28, 2026. It investigates Donald Studey, an alleged serial killer from Iowa. He is suspected of murdering dozens of women, including three of his wives.
