Suits star Meghan Markle is reportedly exploring a return to acting, with early reports linking her to a potential role in Guy Ritchie’s TV show.
According to an exclusive report from Deadline, Markle has had preliminary conversations regarding a UK-based acting role. The report indicates that the Duchess of Sussex is eyeing a potential role in Season 3 of Guy Ritchie’s hit Netflix action-comedy series, The Gentlemen.
Despite the growing speculation, fans need to take the news with a grain of salt. The sources have also stated that these are just rumors. There is nothing confirmed as of now. Neither Ritchie nor any spokesperson from Netflix has confirmed the association of a royal family member with the project.
Currently, the second season of The Gentlemen is scheduled to air on September 3, 2026. There is no confirmation about the show being renewed by Netflix for a third season at the moment.
Why a role in The Gentlemen would make sense
Even though nothing is confirmed, introducing Markle to The Gentlemen cast for a potential third season would make perfect sense. Bringing in the 45-year-old star will garner a lot of instant viewership.
