Gone Girl to stream on Paramount+ next month
Emily Ratajkowski’s NSFW thriller Gone Girl is getting a new streaming home. The film will begin streaming on Paramount+ on November 1, 2026, according to the platform.
Directed by David Fincher, Gone Girl is a psychological thriller adapted from Gillian Flynn’s 2012 novel of the same name. The story begins when Nick Dunne discovers that his wife, Amy, is missing on the day of their fifth wedding anniversary. Nick alerts the authorities, but the investigation soon places him under suspicion as detectives examine the couple’s relationship and question his account of the events surrounding her disappearance.
As the investigation progresses, his behavior and statements fuel doubts about his involvement, while the press turns the case into a widely followed spectacle. The search for Amy exposes the tensions beneath the couple’s image and transforms Nick’s life into the subject of an increasingly intense public investigation.
The film stars Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne and Rosamund Pike as Amy Elliott Dunne. The film’s supporting cast includes Neil Patrick Harris as Desi Collings, Tyler Perry as attorney Tanner Bolt, Carrie Coon as Margo “Go” Dunne, and Emily Ratajkowski as Andie Fitzgerald, among others.
Gone Girl received favorable reviews from both critics and audiences. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an 88 percent critics’ score based on 377 reviews, while its audience score is 87 percent. David Blaustein of ABC News Radio reported, “Gone Girl defies expectations. Even at its weakest moments, this movie sucks you in like a black hole.”
