Stuck on the April 21, 2026 (#1045) edition of NYT Connections? Here are some clues and hints to help you crack today’s puzzle and keep your winning streak alive.

Connection is a popular daily word puzzle by The New York Times Games collection that fans can enjoy online for free. It challenges players to create groups of four from a given assortment of 16 words. Although the words may appear random, they feature hidden connections among them that dictate which words belong together in a common group. Players must identify these connections within four guesses and categorize the words accordingly into their respective groups. Additionally, players who get close to completing a particular group receive a “one away…” hint.
