An Australian tourist is being questioned by Vietnamese police after allegedly going on a rampage in a busy cafe.

He rifles through the bags of customers who'd made a quick exit, turning a laptop into two frisbees.

A group watched in horror from the second floor as the man headed for them next.

He kicked the door open before putting one man in a headlock.

Police officers begin to assemble outside before rushing in and arresting him.

The cafe was forced to shut for up to three days.
