Kill ‘Em All 2 exits Netflix in June
Kill ‘Em All 2 will be leaving Netflix on June 25, according to a report by What’s On Netflix.
The R-rated action film had a direct-to-digital release in September 2024 and then came to DVD in October 2024. The movie marked Fernandez’s debut in Hollywood and is a sequel to the 2017 movie Kill ‘Em All, which also starred Jean-Claude Van Damme.
The sequel was directed by Valeri Milev and produced by Sony. The plotline of the movie was shared in the official trailer on YouTube by Sony, which conveys that it is set seven years after the events of the first movie. As per the description, it focuses on Van Damme’s character, Phillip, and his long-lost daughter, Vanessa, played by Fernandez, who were living away from trouble when a problem from the past starts to hunt them down. After being chased, the father-daughter duo reunites and tries to save themselves.
The screenplay for the movie was written by James Agnew, and it was shot on the Caribbean island of Antigua (via Deadline). Speaking about her Hollywood debut, Fernandez said in an interview, “My parents came down, and they were like, ‘We love our daughter. She made us proud.’ Life came full circle. At moments like this, you feel it was all worth it, the struggle, the challenges, everything,” (via Times of India).
Other movies leaving Netflix in June include the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni movie It Ends with Us and the Night at the Museum trilogy starring Ben Stiller and Robin Williams.
