Amazon Prime Video’s TV and movie release schedule for May 4 to 10, 2026, includes the second season of a spy show featuring a major MCU director.
Citadel chronicles the adventures of secret agents Mason and Nadia. Things turn upside down when they end up losing their memories following an attack from a rival agency. As such, they decide to fight back to regain their lost identities. Season 2 will showcase the characters dealing with a new threat to humanity.
In February, leading lady Priyanka Chopra Jonas opened up on the future of the franchise with Variety. “We have Season 2, for sure, but the rest? I have no idea,” she said. The actress further added, “I don’t ask. I go to work, do my job, and I leave.”
Moreover, she denied rumors of reshoots in the second season. She told The Playlist, “No, I don’t think there were major changes. I think we picked up where we left off in season one.” The 43-year-old continued, “But there were incredible additions, which you will see coming up. Joe Russo directed most of it himself as well. So having his expertise on the set was just great.”
Also coming to Prime Video is the romantic-comedy No Place to Be Single (2026). The Italian film follows Elisa, whose life takes a drastic turn when the return of her childhood friend shakes things up. It is directed by Laura Chiossone and stars Matilde Gioli, Cristiano Caccamo, Amanda Campana, Sebastiano Pigazzi, Cecilia Dazzi, and Margherita Rebeggiani, among others.
