A woman is lucky to be alive after she was saved by a young fisherman, who dropped his rod to help her after she was allegedly hit by a car at a Gold Coast boat ramp.

Tensions continued to escalate as the woman hit the ute with her hand, before she was allegedly struck.

Chilling phone vision allegedly captures the moment the woman was hit and shows the Ford driving away, leaving the woman lying on the ground.

"They ended up getting pretty bad and she was hit and struck by the vehicle," Goulding said.

"I was in shock, this is not something I'd see, ever."

Goulding said he dropped his fishing rod and immediately ran to the 23-year-old woman's aid, while his sister dialled Triple Zero.

"I went to put my hand on her shoulder, shake her and see if she was stable, and she wasn't, she was unconscious at the time," he said.
