A lot changed for Will at the end of the last season, when he was reunited with his biological father, while also coping with Amanda’s near-death experience.

He continues to confront his childhood trauma, suppressed anger, and doubts about deserving a family. He forms an unlikely relationship with his nephew Calvin. Meanwhile, killer James Ulster escapes prison and targets Will. He later kidnaps Calvin, forcing Will to trade himself for the boy’s life.
