Chu, the musical fantasy film follows Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, as she lives in seclusion within the Ozian forest. Meanwhile, Glinda enjoys a life of peace and popularity in the Emerald City palace. When an angry mob turns against the Wicked Witch, the beloved duo ultimately reunites. What happens in Wicked: For Good ending?

In the end, Dorothy throws water on Elphaba in an attempt to conclude her chapter. Following this, she manages to escape through the trap door and is later connected with Fiyero. Before meeting, Fiyero ensured that the dangers had passed and that they were free to escape. They then run from the Land of Oz to somewhere else to start a new chapter together.

As Elphaba escapes, Glinda the Good Witch takes the responsibility of ruling the Land of Oz and spearheading it to a brighter future. Despite dreaming of marrying Fiyero earlier, Glinda had no grudges with him or Elphaba when they ran away. At the end, the unexpected duo’s bond remained intact as they went their separate ways. Meanwhile, the Wizard escapes a coup and gets away from the city in a hot air balloon. Madame Morrible faces imprisonment.

Elphaba fakes her death but is alive in Wicked: For Good.

Dorothy throws water at Elphaba in an attempt to end her story. She chooses this method because earlier rumors claimed that water could melt the Wicked Witch of the West. However, the water does not affect Elphaba, and she ultimately survives. She escapes through a trap door, though everyone believes she has already died. With Fiyero by her side, she starts a new chapter somewhere else.
