Why Chicago Med Season 11 didn’t release a new episode today?

NBC didn’t release Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 13 on February 11, as it’s busy covering the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan.

It’s common for One Chicago shows to go on a brief hiatus to extend the season across months and to build anticipation for the upcoming storylines. However, this time, the break is longer than expected, as the series is set to return directly next month. This is because NBC has given its primetime slot on Wednesdays to broadcast major sports events. The Olympics will be airing in the three-hour One Chicago slot, starting at 8 PM ET.

Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 13 will return to NBC on March 4, 2026, at 5 p.m. PT and 8 p.m. ET. The upcoming episode will be a crossover between the One Chicago shows. According to TMDb, the crossover episode will begin with Chicago Fire. The show will start with Firehouse 51 responding to a critical emergency at an airfield after a passenger plane loses communication mid-flight. What initially appears to be a routine high-risk rescue quickly escalates into a far more dangerous and complex situation. As the team investigates, they uncover a more serious threat that could extend well beyond the runway and place numerous lives at risk.
