General Hospital fans are extremely concerned about Britt’s fate on the show and worry that she could die. After witnessing a murder and receiving life-threatening warnings, fans are not sure how long the character can survive anymore.
Here are the details on the situation.

Could Kelly Thiebaud’s Britt die and leave General Hospital?
In General Hospital, Britt Westbourne, played by Kelly Thiebaud, has been working with Jenz Sidwell on his secret experimental project. She isn’t doing it by choice; Sidwell is using various leverage and threats to ensure her cooperation.
In the November 19 episode, Sidwell kills Dalton as he had become a liability for him. Dalton had falsely accused Rocco of destroying their lab, bringing unwanted attention to their work. When Dalton shows up at his home drunk, Sidwell takes the opportunity and shoots him with Britt still in the room. He later threatens her with bearing the same fate if she ever decides to cross him.
Ever since witnessing the crime, Britt’s fate has been left hanging by a thread. She continues to spiral down into deep emotional turmoil and pushes away Jason, who’s trying to offer support. It’s only a matter of time until she decides to do something about it.
She can either testify against Sidwell when the time comes or continue to work in the lab, secretly trying to sabotage his work. Either way, her life is in danger, which makes it quite possible for her to meet a tragic end. Unless she accepts Jason’s help, she’ll be on her own. But with someone as unpredictable as Sidwell watching over her, Britt has limited options. Plus, there’s no guarantee that when the work is done, Sidwell will spare her because it’s obvious that he’ll want to tie up all loose ends.
On the other hand, Britt’s association with death is nothing new to the character. She has previously suffered from Huntington’s disease and was, in fact, dead at one point in the story after The Hook Killer stabbed her to death in 2023. However, the character miraculously returned earlier this year. So, even if she dies, the show could bring her back in several ways.
So, where does her storyline end? Will Kelly Thiebaud be leaving General Hospital again? Make sure to keep tuning in to General Hospital to find that out.
