Rumors of a feud between Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid have been circulating after the Gossip Girl actor was absent from Hadid’s 30th birthday celebration. The supermodel’s event in New York City was attended by several high-profile celebrities. However, Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, were notably missing. Given Lively and Hadid’s long history of friendship, fans began to wonder whether there might be tension between the two.

Is Blake Lively feuding with Gigi Hadid?

Blake Lively’s friendship with longtime friend Gigi Hadid appears to be under strain, prompting speculation of a possible falling-out. The rumors began swirling after Lively skipped Hadid’s high-profile 30th birthday celebration in New York City. The celebration was attended by A-listers including Bella Hadid, Anne Hathaway, and more. However, Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, were not among the attendees, raising fans’ concerns about their friendship.

Their absence raised eyebrows, especially since Lively had been seen the previous night at the TIME100 Gala in New York City with her mother and Reynolds. The following evening, she was spotted in Wales, cheering on Reynolds’ soccer team, Wrexham AFC. This prompted speculation that Lively’s absence from the birthday party wasn’t due to travel concerns.

Journalist Kjersti Flaa addressed the situation on her Flaawsome Talk podcast, calling it “weird.” She expressed her surprise at Lively not attending such an important occasion. She also added, “I think maybe Gigi Hadid didn’t want [Lively] to show up because both her and [her boyfriend] Bradley Cooper [are] probably waiting to be subpoenaed.”

Since Lively filed her lawsuit in December, she and Hadid haven’t been publicly seen together. Just last year, the pair attended events together, including the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere. With the legal case heading to trial in March 2026, fans are left wondering whether Lively and Hadid’s friendship is over.
