Following its recent premiere on Netflix, Weak Hero Class 2 has gone on to amass rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Fans have been eagerly waiting to know how Yeon Si-eun’s story unfolds in Season 2, following the explosive events of the show’s debut chapter. One of the most glaring queries that have followed the release of Weak Hero Class 2 is whether Choi Hyun-wook’s Ahn Su-ho dies. The character tragically entered a state of coma after Season 1.

So, here are all the answers to fans’ questions regarding the fate of Ahn Su-ho in the webtoon-inspired series.

Does Ahn Su-ho die in Weak Hero Class 2?

Much to the delight of Weak Hero fans, Ahn Su-ho manages to survive his comatose condition by the end of Class 2.

Having premiered in November 2022, Weak Hero Class 1 follows the adventures of Park Ji-hoon’s Yeon Si-eun as he allies with Su-ho and Hong Kyung’s Oh Beom-seok to fight off the bullies in his school. Nevertheless, Beom-seok ends up turning on his mates after being influenced by his father and Gil-sun. Now looking to take revenge on his former friends, Beom-seok concocts a plan to hurt Su-ho by setting a trap for Yeong-i.

However, when Si-eun acts up on Beom-seok’s invitation instead of Yeong-i, the wealthy student decides to go along with his plan anyway and assaults Si-eun. Upon hearing of this development, an enraged Su-ho vows to exact revenge. His quest does not end well, as Beom-seok, Woo-young, and the remaining bullies beat him to within an inch of his life, leaving him in a coma prior to Weak Hero Class 2.

As such, Ahn Su-ho spends most of Weak Hero Class 2 in a comatose state. Nonetheless, the final moments of the season reveal that he has recovered from his injuries. Si-eun then races to meet his best friend, alongside his latest allies, Humin, Juntae, and Hyeontak, and finds him in a wheelchair.

While Netflix has yet to share an official word regarding a potential Weak Hero Class 3, the return of Ahn Su-ho suggests that he could play a significant role in the series if a third season comes by.
