HBO has expanded the cast of The White Lotus Season 4 with two new additions. It has officially added Steve Coogan and Caleb Jonte Edwards to the cast. The latest casting update offers a clearer picture of the show’s next season as the acclaimed anthology prepares to shift its story to France.

Steve Coogan and Caleb Jonte Edwards join the cast of The White Lotus Season 4

HBO’s Emmy-winning anthology series The White Lotus has added two new names to its Season 4 ensemble, with Steve Coogan and Caleb Jonte Edwards officially signing on for the upcoming installment. However, the network has not released any information regarding their characters

Coogan, a two-time Academy Award nominee, is known for his portrayal of the satirical character Alan Partridge. Meanwhile, Edwards has built his profile through performances in recent television dramas, including Black Snow.

The pair join previously announced cast members Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka. Previous reports have indicated that Helena Bonham Carter is in talks to join the cast, while Chris Messina is also being considered. However, HBO has yet to confirm any further additions.

Season 4 of The White Lotus will shift the story to France. Earlier seasons were set in Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand. HBO has confirmed that the Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez will serve as the primary filming location. Production is expected to take place across other parts of the country as well.

The new season will once again follow a group of wealthy guests and hotel employees over the course of a single week. Like previous seasons, it will likely dark comedy to explore class, power, and privilege within a luxury resort. Mike White returns as creator, writer, and director, continuing his role in the series. He also executive produces alongside David Bernad and Mark Kamine. White is currently writing the new season as casting continues to take shape.

With a high-profile location and new lineup, the anticipation for the new season of The White Lotus continues to build.
