Disney+ has shared the official trailer for The End of an Era, Taylor Swift‘s newest documentary series about her record-breaking The Eras Tour concert. The six-episode docuseries is scheduled to start streaming on December 12 with the first two episodes. Afterward, two episodes will debut each week.
In addition, it has also been announced that a special ABC preview event featuring Episode 1 of The End of an Era and a one-hour presentation of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show will air on ABC on December 12 at 8 p.m. EST. On the same day, the concert movie will also debut on Disney+.

What happens in Taylor Swift’s The End of an Era trailer?
The video offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at how Taylor Swift meticulously crafted her sixth concert tour, which consists of 149 shows in 51 cities across five continents. The Eras Tour lasted from March 2023 to December 2024, earning more than $2 billion in revenue, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time. The trailer also provides a glimpse of some of Swift’s personal backstage moments with special guests, family members, and now-fiancé Travis Kelce.
“The End of an Era is an illuminating docuseries on Disney+ that gives an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world,” reads the official synopsis. “In addition, the series features Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Travis Kelce, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, along with her band, dancers, crew, and family members – offering never-before-seen insight into what it took to create a phenomenon.”
Filmed in Vancouver, B.C., Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show is the full concert film, which was captured during the final show of the tour. It features the entire set of The Tortured Poets Department, which was added to the tour following that album’s release in 2024. The docuseries is directed by Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce. It is produced by Object & Animal. As for the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, it is directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Taylor Swift Production in association with Silent House Productions.
