Superman & Lois Star To Lead Fall Producers’ Thriller, Filming Window Revealed — Photo Credit: The CW / DC Studios

After producing 2022’s unexpected hit, Fall, Tea Shop Productions and Capstone Pictures are collaborating on yet another action-packed project that will take place in an adventure park. Titled Invertigo, the rollercoaster thriller has roped in an up-and-coming superstar, in the form of Superman & Lois star Inde Navarrette, to lead the movie.

Tea Shop and Capstone Pictures reunite with Inde Navarrette for Invertigo

After recently awing critics with her performance in Obsession, the 24-year-old up-and-coming actress will once again collaborate with Tea Shop and Capstone in their upcoming movie.

Belonging to the same genre as Fall, Invertigo will follow a group of reckless teenagers who decide to infiltrate an adventure park in a bid to try its yet-unopened rollercoaster. They manipulate a young park worker into letting them in. However, things soon take a turn for the worse when a system failure leaves them hanging hundreds of feet in the air (via Deadline).

“Invertigo is a film about fear—both the immediate, visceral kind and the deeper fears we carry with us,” said director Matthias Hoene. “Setting the story high above the ground allowed us to push the tension to an extreme, but it’s the emotional pressure between these characters that truly drives the film. Inde brings an incredible intensity and vulnerability to the role, and I’m thrilled to begin this journey with such a talented cast and crew.”

Meanwhile, Kathy Charles and Billy O’Brien have combined to compose the screenplay for Invertigo, with Peter Matjasko coming in as the cinematographer. Meanwhile, Tea Shop’s James Harris and Mark Lane and Capstone head Christian Mercuri serve as the film’s producers.

“We are really excited to get Invertigo going and thrilled to be working on a third film with Inde. Her performance in our production, Obsession, has cemented her as an incredibly exciting emerging talent,” noted Mercuri.

Filming for Invertigo will take place across several destinations, including Thailand, the US, and the UK, and is on track to commence later this month.
