On November 25, 2025, the cast of Stranger Things performed a rap recap of all four seasons on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, ahead of the show’s final season.
The segment featured full cast participation and summarized major plot points from each season using rhymed lyrics. The moment was shared on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption: “The cast of @Stranger_Things rap a recap of the entire series ahead of the final season!”
The rap began with Season 1 set in Hawkins, Indiana, where Will Byers disappears, and Eleven, introduced with telekinetic powers, joins the boys. Season 2 introduced Max and Billy, and new threats like the Demodogs. It included Eleven sealing the portal and kissing Mike. Season 3 focused on the mall setting, the Russian plot, and featured key deaths. It concluded with, “A Never–Ending Story!”
Season 4 pushes the story into darker territory as Vecna emerges from the Upside Down with a new wave of attacks. The lyrics race through the chaos with lines like “Look where the time is. Vecna is here,” The verse highlights the threat closing in on Hawkins.
Season 5 is teased with a final set of lines that shift toward the endgame. The rap references Vecna’s domain with “Vecna’s lair. Don’t start floating. In the air,” and hints at the last battle ahead. It nods to the upcoming year with “One more year. With better hair,” before closing on the promise of the series finale: “Stranger Things. We’ll see you there.”
The final season has eight episodes, releasing in three parts: November 26, December 25, and December 31, 2025. Returning cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, and others, with Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay. Set in fall 1987, the group seeks to destroy Vecna while the military hunts Eleven.
