ABC has officially locked in season finale dates for some of its biggest shows heading into the final stretch of the 2025-26 television year. The network’s creator teams and showrunners are preparing to close out both beloved long-runners and fresh new faces. From primetime dramas to rebooted comedies, ABC’s farewell episodes are arriving sooner than fans might expect.

ABC reveals season finale dates for several of its major shows

ABC has set season-finale dates for its major 2025-26 shows, spanning dramas, comedies, and unscripted series (via Deadline). The finales begin April 7 with High Potential’s Season 2 finale and conclude May 15 with Celebrity Jeopardy!’s Season 4 finale. All finale episodes will stream on Hulu the following day.

Dramas dominate the latter half of the finale schedule, with several airing on May 7. Grey’s Anatomy wraps its Season 22 run alongside 9-1-1’s Season 9 finale and 9-1-1: Nashville’s Season 1 finale on that same Thursday. The Rookie concludes Season 8 on May 4, while Will Trent ends Season 4 on May 5.

Comedy finales arrive earlier in the schedule, with Scrubs closing its rebooted Season 1 on April 15. Abbott Elementary ends Season 5 on April 21, joined by The Greatest Average American’s Season 1 and Shark Tank’s Season 17 finale on the same Wednesday. RJ Decker wraps its debut Season 1 on April 28.

Unscripted programming rounds out the finale calendar across May. American Idol concludes its Season 24 run on May 11, while Celebrity Jeopardy! closes Season 4 on May 15. These finales mark the official end of ABC’s 2025-26 broadcast television season across all major programming categories.

ABC’s finale schedule showcases a diverse slate encompassing drama, comedy, and reality programming.
