What happens in the Scream 7 Super Bowl trailer?
“Hello, Sidney. I’m going to make everyone you love suffer while you watch,” Ghostface says in a phone call to Sidney.
In the latest trailer for Scream 7, Sidney learns that the new Ghostface killer has been planning this attack for years. Sidney’s daughter, Tatum, is the same age as Sidney was when she faced the first Ghostface killers in Scream.
“This isn’t going to stop unless I stop it,” Sidney says before the trailer cuts to footage of Sidney shooting a gun and Ghostface wielding a knife.
Besides Campbell and May, Scream 7 stars Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin, Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin, Matthew Lillard as Stu Macher, Joel McHale as Mark Evans, and Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers. Anna Camp, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos.
David Arquette and Scott Foley are slated to return as Dewey Riley and Roman Bridger, respectively. Roger L. Jackson will continue to voice Ghostface.
Scream scribe Kevin Williamson will direct from a screenplay he co-wrote with Guy Busick, based on a story by Busick and James Vanderbilt. William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, and Vanderbilt are producers.
Scream 7 hits theaters on February 27, 2026. The movie will receive an IMAX release for the first time in franchise history.
