Netflix has revealed the release date and first-look photos of Season 3 of its popular romantic drama, XO, Kitty. Created by Jenny Han, it serves as a spin-off to the To All the Boys movie trilogy. The first season of the show premiered on May 18, 2023, with the sophomore season arriving on January 16, 2025.

XO, Kitty Season 3 gets first photos and release date

The popular Netflix show will return to the streaming platform with its third season on April 2, 2026.

Netflix made the announcement by releasing new photos, providing fans with a first glimpse at the upcoming season. On X (formerly Twitter), the streaming giant shared the images and stated, “Don’t freak out, but… XO, KITTY RETURNS APRIL 2.”

Netflix further provided an official synopsis of Season 3, which reads, “Kitty returns for her final year at KISS with her perfect senior year mapped out. She’s going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And, she’s going to define her relationship with Min Ho. For real this time. But when surprise revelations derail her plans and relationships, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected.”

The new season will see Kitty Song Covey, played by Anna Cathcart, return to KISS (Korean Independent School of Seoul) as a senior. Apart from her, the returning cast includes Anthony Keyvan, Regan Aliyah, Minyeong Choi, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Hojo Shin, Peter Thurnwald, and more.

Moreover, the new cast members of XO, Kitty include Soy Kim, Christine Hwang, and Sule Thelwell.

While speaking to The Wrap in January 2025, Cathcart shared what fans could expect from Season 3. She stated, “I’m just so excited to continue her story. I think she has so much growing to do always, and it’s so fun to watch. I think this is a very cheesy answer, but I hope Kitty always follows her heart, and I know that she will because that’s something she’s almost too good at doing; she can’t help herself but follow her heart and go wherever that leads her.”
