What happens in the Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 trailer?
The video teases the aftermath of Season 4’s fourth episode, featuring Sophie trying to avoid Benedict after getting offended by his request to become his mistress. The trailer highlights the dilemma that Benedict will be facing in the four episodes, as he must choose between true love and following what society expects him to do as a Bridgerton. It also offers a glimpse of some of Season 4’s emotional and intense sequences, involving the star-crossed lovers.
Bridgerton Season 4 is based on the novel An Offer from a Gentleman, which was the third book in Julia Quinn’s bestselling Bridgerton series. Besides Ha, the new installment also introduces new cast members Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao as Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei as Posy Li. They are joined by returning cast members Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown, Masali Baduza as Michaela Stirling, Hannah Dodd as Francesca Stirling, Victor Alli as Lord John Stirling, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Bridgerton, Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton, Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton, Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Will Tilston as Gregory Bridgerton, Polly Walker as Portia Featherington, and more.
The show is executive-produced by Shonda Rhimes, showrunner Jess Brownell, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and Chris Van Dusen. It has also been confirmed that the show was renewed for two more seasons. Seasons 5 and 6 would most likely feature the love stories of Eloise Bridgerton and Francesca Bridgerton, since they are, respectively, the fifth- and sixth-oldest children of the Bridgerton siblings.
