Warner Bros. has revealed the full trailer for Wuthering Heights, the newest film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic 1847 novel from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell. The romance drama will arrive in theaters on February 13, 2026.
“A bold and original imagining of one of the greatest love stories of all time, the movie follows Cathy and Heathcliff, whose forbidden passion for one another turns from romantic to intoxicating in an epic tale of lust, love, and madness,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the Wuthering Heights trailer?
The video introduces Academy Award nominee Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Euphoria star Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. This marks Elordi’s second collaboration with Fennell, after 2023’s Saltburn. It highlights Cathy and Heathcliff’s complicated and passionate love story, which began when they were children. The trailer also teases the difference between Fennell’s new adaptation and the original.
Fennell wrote and directed the new Wuthering Heights movie, with Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara serving as producers for LuckyChap Entertainment. The film also stars Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton, Hong Chau as Nelly Dean, Alison Oliver as Isabella Linton, Owen Cooper as the young Heathcliff, Charlotte Mellington as the young Catherine, and Vy Nguyen as the young Nelly. It is executive-produced by Sara Desmond.
The original novel follows two families — the Earnshaws and the Lintons — and their relationships over several years. Since its release in the mid-1800s, Wuthering Heights has been widely considered one of the greatest novels ever written. The book has been adapted into films several times around the world since 1920, including in Robert Fuest’s 1970 version starring Timothy Dalton, Peter Kominsky’s 1992 version starring Juliette Binoche and Ralph Fiennes, and Andrea Arnold’s 2011 version starring Kaya Scodelario.
