Netflix has announced that it will be releasing a handful of new games onto its service this holiday season, one of which is based on the iconic Knives Out franchise.
What do we know about the upcoming Knives Out video game?
In a recent announcement from Netflix, the company highlighted some of its gaming efforts that will be releasing throughout the holiday season. One of those games, Dead Man’s Party: A Knives Out Game, puts world-famous detective Benoit Blanc back in charge of solving a crime. This time, it’s with those playing.
“It’s up to you to deduce what happened and convince everyone you’re not the killer. Or, if you are, you’ve got to keep Blanc off your tail and make sure you influence the vote so you don’t get outed,” reads the official description of the game.
No release date was mentioned for the Knives Out spin-off game, but Netflix did say that the title was “coming soon.”Knives Out 3, also known as Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, arrives on Netflix this coming December. Before that, fans of the franchise will have a chance to see it in select theaters, as it is getting a limited release beginning on November 26, 2025.
Daniel Craig leads the film as Benoit Blanc, a reprisal of the character he’s helped make famous. Joining him are Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.
