Searchlight Pictures has announced the digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for Is This Thing On?, which is Bradley Cooper‘s latest directorial effort. Since its theatrical debut last December, the comedy-drama has received a Certified Fresh score of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 182 reviews.
“As their marriage quietly unravels, Alex faces middle age and an impending divorce, seeking new purpose in the New York comedy scene, while Tess confronts the sacrifices she made for their family – forcing them to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form,” reads the official synopsis
When are the digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for Is This Thing On?
Cooper’s Is This Thing On? will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on February 10, 2026. It will then be followed by its 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release on March 17. The ensemble cast was led by Will Arnett, Laura Dern, Cooper, Andra Day, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, and Scott Icenogle. To prepare for the role, Arnett wrote and performed stand-up bits in comedy clubs every night for six weeks.

Cooper directed the movie from a screenplay co-written by Arnett, Cooper, and Mark Chappell, based on a story by Arnett, Chappell, and John Bishop, whose life inspired the character of Alex. It was produced by Cooper, Arnett, Weston Middleton, and Kris Thykier. The creative team consisted of cinematographer Matthew Libatique, editor Charlie Greene, production designer Kevin Thompson, and composer James Newberry.
