Viewers are curious to know whether a new episode of South Park Season 28 will premiere tonight on Comedy Central. The popular animated sitcom follows four foul-mouthed friends living in the fictional town of South Park. They embark on misadventures that range from supernatural to satirically rooted in reality. It’s been almost two weeks since the previous episode, making many wonder when the next one will premiere.

Will South Park Season 28 release a new episode tonight?

Yes, South Park Season 28 Episode 4 will premiere on November 26 on Comedy Central and the next day on Paramount+. Its release time is 7 p.m. PT and 10 p.m. ET.

At the time of writing, the plot for the upcoming episode hasn’t been disclosed. The previous episode, titled “Sora Not Sorry,” featured Butters’ AI revenge plan going awry. It eventually sparks a wave of fake videos in school. Detective Harris steps in to solve the case; however, it becomes difficult for him to differentiate between real and fake.

Season 28 consists of 5 episodes, with the finale premiering on December 10, 2025. However, fans need not worry as the show has been renewed through Season 30. Ever since Season 27 premiered in July, the show has maintained an inconsistent release schedule, with several episodes previously getting delayed due to multiple reasons.

During the Season 27 premiere, the show was also surrounded by controversy concerning the White House and Trump. The current season, nevertheless, has maintained a bi-weekly gap between episodes. There was only a slight change with Season 28 Episode 2, which was supposed to premiere on October 29 but was shifted to Friday, October 31, for Halloween.

In September 2025, showrunners Trey Parker and Matt Stone addressed episode delays while disclosing the updated release schedule in a statement to The Rolling Stone. It read, “Apparently, when you do everything at the last minute, sometimes you don’t get it done. This one’s on us. We didn’t get it done in time. Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being super understanding. Tune in next week!”
