A new teaser trailer for In a Violent Nature 2 has been released.

In a Violent Nature is a 2024 slasher horror movie written and directed by Chris Nash. Starring Ry Barrett, Andrea Pavlovic, and Lauren-Marie Taylor, it follows a mute killer, Johnny, who gradually stalks and murders a group of teenagers in the Ontario wilderness. The film is shot from the perspective of Johnny.

A sequel was officially announced to be in the works at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 and, now, fans can check out the first teaser trailer for the new movie.

What do we see in the In a Violent Nature 2 trailer?

The In a Violent Nature 2 trailer sees “Johnny’s violent rampage lead him to a summer camp, just as a young, outcast camper is forced to spend the night with his counsellor sister and her friends at their annual end-of-season party.”

The cast includes Barrett, Lucas Nguyen, Olivia Scriven, Laurie Babin, Fionn Laird, Donald MacLean Jr., and Evan Marsh. Peter Kuplowsky, Shannon Hanmer, Nash, and Michael James Regan produce the movie, while Liane Cunje serves as co-producer.

“In a Violent Nature’demonstrated that there continues to be a yearning for new perspectives in the horror landscape. We knew immediately that this distinctive take on the slasher would enthrall fans and are glad to see the community embrace a new slasher icon in Johnny,” AMC Networks’ Scott Shooman previously said about the new movie, via Variety. “With the sequel, we aim to prove that Johnny can be bigger, meaner, and his kills can only get more impressive.”

An official release date for In a Violent Nature 2 has not yet been announced by IFC Films and Shudder. The first movie, however, is currently available to watch on the Shudder streaming service.
