The beloved Bruce Willis action movie Armageddon will be landing on the free streaming service Tubi within the month. The 1998 classic was an incredible success at the box office, with the blockbuster earning $553 million worldwide with only a budget of $140 million.
Armageddon releasing on Tubi soon
The action flick Armageddon is releasing on the free, ad-supported Tubi streaming service on March 1, 2026.
Directed by Michael Bay, Armageddon is typically available to stream on various paid subscription services, such as Philo, Hulu, MGM+, Sling TV, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube TV, and fuboTV. It can be purchased on other platforms, like Google Play, Apple TV, and Fandango. So it’s great to see that viewers can soon watch the movie without having to pay a dime, though it’s unclear how long it will be available to stream through Tubi’s library.
This isn’t the first Bruce Willis film to make its way to the streamer that’s owned by FOX. At the start of February, both Die Hard (1988) and Live Free or Die Hard (2007) arrived on Tubi. The free streamer also has Death Becomes Her, Death Wish, The Whole Nine Yards, Wrong Place, Apex, Out of Death, The Prince, American Siege, and many more movies starring the acting legend.
Beyond that, we’ve seen a large number of Bruce Willis films become available on more platforms. Near the start of the year, Lionsgate Movies made five of his films free on YouTube: The Prince, Acts of Violence, Survive the Night, Survive the Game, and Trauma Center.
The 70-year-old actor has been dealing with a condition called frontotemporal dementia, otherwise known as FTD. His wife, Emma Heming Willis, has revealed a health update on how her husband has been faring since his diagnosis in an interview in January, saying that there are times when he doesn’t recognize that he has the disease.
