One of Netflix‘s most popular recent shows could be getting a second season and might see a different release.
What Netflix show might be going straight to YouTube for Season 2?
Speaking during a recent appearance on the daytime talk show Sherri, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, the executive producer behind Netflix’s recent docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning, spoke about the show. While he didn’t dive too deep into the possibilities of another season, he did tease that it could release elsewhere.
During the talk, Jackson noted that several things had to be trimmed in the show, including information about some of Combs’ other relationships. Sherri noted that it must mean a Season 2 is coming, to which Jackson noted he could just drop it elsewhere.
“Or I just put it on YouTube,” Jackson joked when asked about a Season 2 coming out, potentially hinting at where the show could be headed. Jackson was also asked about whether or not the show coming out has led to more information about Combs coming forward, to which Jackson hinted there was.
“Well, everyone starts to feel a little more comfortable once they see people telling their truth about it,” said Jackson. The star also said that the docuseries has “exceeded” his expectations, even though he did believe the show would be big when it releases.
Sean Combs: The Reckoning is a four-part series that handles the sexual misconduct allegations against Combs. The series has been a massive success on the streaming platform, debuting with 21.8 million views in just its first six days on the platform.
