As he continues to navigate the city’s challenging legal system from the back of his Lincoln Navigator, he also ensures he wins every case. As Season 4 recently concluded, many are eager to know whether there are plans for another installment.

Has Netflix canceled The Lincoln Lawyer or renewed it for Season 5?

Netflix has renewed The Lincoln Lawyer for Season 5 ahead of Season 4’s premiere.

Similar to its predecessors, The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5 will consist of 10 episodes. It will be adapted from the seventh novel in Michael Connelly’s Resurrection Walk book series. The announcement came days before the Season 4 premiere, whose all episodes are now streaming on Netflix.

Co-showrunners and executive producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez expressed their excitement for another outing while speaking to Tudum. They said, “We’re so excited to share the upcoming fourth season with the audience on February 5, and even more excited to share the news that we’re already hard at work on the next one. Season 4 is the most challenging and intensely personal journey we’ve taken Mickey Haller on yet, and we’re thrilled and grateful to be able to continue the ride in Season 5.”

Based on the sixth book, The Law of Innocence, the latest installment follows attorney Mickey Haller being put in a controversial position in his career. He’s charged with murder, which could sentence him to prison. Navigating this tricky challenge, he must prove his innocence while also exposing the true culprit, all while sitting in a jail cell.

The cast members include Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller, Becki Newton as Lorna Crane, Angus Sampson as Dennis ‘Cisco’ Wojciechowski, Jazz Raycole as Izzy Letts, and Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson, among others.
