With Talamasca: The Secret Order Season 1’s recent conclusion, fans are awaiting news concerning Season 2 and are wondering if the series has been renewed or canceled. The first season ran on AMC for six episodes between October 19 and November 23, 2025.

John Lee Hancock created Talamasca: The Secret Order, based on Anne Rice’s books, The Vampire Chronicles and Lives of the Mayfair Witches. It is the third installment in the Immortal Universe, a shared universe that also includes Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches.

Has AMC canceled Talamasca: The Secret Order or renewed it for Season 2?

AMC has neither renewed Talamasca: The Secret Order for Season 2 nor canceled it at the time of writing.

Although the series’ future is currently uncertain, star Nicholas Denton has addressed the possibility of a second installment. Speaking to TVInsider, he expressed hope for more adventure, stressing that the first season was set entirely in England and that the show still had the “rest of the world” to explore.

He also said that there was “a lot to unpack” when it came to Guy and Doris’ character dynamics. Denton further stated that there was room for more character development for Helen and Jasper.

All six episodes of Talamasca: The Secret Order are currently streaming on AMC+. The series will eventually join its sister shows, Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches, on Netflix in 2026.

Talamasca follows Guy Anatole (Denton), who joins the eponymous organization, an international spy agency. After joining the organization, he begins searching for answers related to his family’s ties to the supernatural world.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the series currently boasts a fresh score of 64% on the Tomatometer. It also has an audience score of 71% on the Popcornmeter.

Besides Denton, Talamasca also stars Celine Buckens, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, William Fichtner, and Elizabeth McGovern, among others.
