Has Netflix canceled Crap Happens or renewed it for Season 2?

As of now, Netflix has not confirmed whether Crap Happens will return for Season 2.

The debut season of Crap Happens, also known in German as Kacken an der Havel, premiered on Thursday, February 26. Netflix has yet to announce whether the series will be back for another installment. Given its recent release, the streaming giant may take some time to gauge its performance and viewership before deciding to bring it back.

Created by brothers Alex and Dimitrij Schaad, Crap Happens follows Toni, whose lifelong dream has been to leave his hometown of Kacken and become a rapper. However, he still hasn’t made it big after 18 years of hustling in Berlin. He now works as a pizza baker. His life takes a crazy turn when he has to return home after his mother suddenly passed away.

Upon returning to his hometown, Toni receives an opportunity of a lifetime. However, he has to deal with a bunch of wacky situations. For one, he finds out that he has a 13-year-old son, Charly. Not only does Toni have to navigate fatherhood, but he also has to deal with his younger stepfather, Johnny Carrera, eccentric neighbors, and other quirky aspects of his hometown.

Filming took place in Poland, with Alex Schaad and Jano Ben Chaabane serving as the directors. The series is produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production.

Crap Happens stars Anton Schneider in the lead as Toni. Other cast members of the show include Dimitrij Schaad, Jella Haase, Jördis Triebel, Sophia Münster, Jana Münster, and many more.
