The latest episode of General Hospital sees Sidwell revealing the fate of Nathan West, who died after being shot by his father, Cesar Faison. His recent resurrection sparked doubts, which were clarified in the previous episode when Sidwell revealed Nathan’s true identity.

When Sidwell assigns him a mission, Nathan appears hesitant, noting that carrying it out would go against a detective’s values. Sidwell agrees that Nathan might not be able to do it, but then reveals he isn’t actually speaking to Nathan at all. Instead, he is talking to his twin brother, Cassius Faison.
What happened to the real Nathan West on General Hospital?
The April 1 episode featured Sidwell, who disclosed that the detective is not the real Nathan West, but his twin brother, Cassius Faison. The twin brother further confirmed that it’s true that Nathan West died after being shot by their father. However, he managed to convince everyone around that Nathan didn’t face a tragic fate. He then took over Nathan’s identity to get himself enrolled in the PCPD and work on carrying out Sidwell’s evil plans.
Cassius admitted that things would have gone downhill if Maxie had visited to meet Nathan, as she would have easily been able to catch the lie. This is because she and Nathan knew each other very well. However, Sidwell helped him out to get Maxie out of the picture temporarily, so that she couldn’t cause any hindrance in their plans.
The twin explains how he successfully took over Nathan West’s identity without raising any suspicion from Maxie. He said, “Maxie being in a coma bought me the time I needed. By the time she came back, I had my brother’s life down pat, so she had no reason to doubt me.”
With Nathan West’s real identity now out, it remains to be seen which direction the storyline will take next and whether other characters will uncover his truth.
