Kristen Bell denies recent reports that she and her co-stars, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad, are earning massive salaries for Frozen 3 and Frozen 4.
Bell, the voice of Anna in the first two movies, is reportedly earning a staggering amount of $60 million to reprise her voice role for the following two sequels. Menzel (who voices Elsa) and Gad (Olaf) — both part of the main voice cast since Frozen and Frozen II — are also reported to be earning the same amount, bringing the combined payday for the three stars to $180 million.
What did Kristen Bell say about her alleged Frozen 3 $60 Million deal?
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the Actor Awards, the actress did not disclose her salary for the two animated sequels, but she did deny the rumors surrounding her gigantic salary.
“There’s been a lot misreported about that Frozen deal. No, no, no, no, no, that’s somebody making a lot of things up. But that said, am I happy to have that job and does it pay very well because it’s a successful franchise? Yes. And I’m so grateful for it, and I will continue to do it for the rest of my life if they’ll have me,” said Bell.
Frozen 3 has been expected, but the rumored pay packages for the voice cast still raised eyebrows and even shocked the voice cast member herself. Bell proceeded to ask the host, “Didn’t it sound absurd when you read it? ‘When I read it, I was like, ‘Whoa, whoa, what?’”

2013’s Frozen is one of the most successful animated movies at Disney and across the animation industry. It held the title of the highest-grossing animated film of all time before Frozen II surpassed the box office record set by the original.
Plot details for Frozen 3 and 4 remain under wraps, but Disney announced back in 2024 that the third installment is scheduled to hit U.S. cinemas on November 24, 2027. It was also confirmed that Frozen 4 was already in development that same year.
